From Magic Unicorn Unconventional Technology

Every asset,
listed and sold.

Whether you're reselling inventory or liquidating surplus business assets: drop a few photos and a sentence of notes, and the app drafts the listing, writes the description, and researches a fair price. Your team runs the whole sell-side — replies, offers, negotiation, returns, shipping, payouts — without ever touching the seller login.

What's inside

Everything the sell-side needs.
Nothing it doesn't.

Drop photos. Get a listing.

Vision extracts the specs. Title and HTML description get drafted in the right voice. A price band comes back from sold-listing comps with your own listings filtered out so you don't reprice against yourself.

  • Four AI passes: vision → title → description → price band
  • Per-listing AI prompt overrides
  • "Save & push to eBay" auto-republishes
  • Then it runs the store: offers, returns, labels

Photos → specs → price

Drag-drop, paste, or fetch by URL. Auto-cover, reorder, and click any photo to set as the new lead.

Send offers to watchers

See who's watching, then nudge them with a one-click discount offer. Turn quiet interest into a sale before they drift.

Best-Offer autopilot

Opt in and set your floor: auto-accept above it, auto-decline the lowballs, auto-counter everything in between — day and night.

Returns & refunds, in-app

Approve, decline, or refund a return without leaving the app — or handing anyone the eBay login. Books reconcile automatically.

Relist + Second Chance Offers

Didn't sell, or the auction fell short? One-click relist, or send a Second Chance Offer straight to the underbidders.

Buyer inbox, in-app

Messages and offers sync every few minutes. Reply, accept, decline, or counter — bilingual, and eBay sees it instantly.

Shipping labels + combined orders

Buy the label in-app. Same buyer, multiple orders → one tracking number, and eBay syncs all of them shipped.

Payouts + margin

Track profit per listing and pay contributors their share. Auto-voids on refund so reversed sales never leak money downstream.

Zero credential sharing

The OAuth round-trip handles eBay end-to-end. Encrypted at rest. Your teammate runs the store and never sees a token.

Bulk import + publish

Spreadsheet wizard maps columns to fields, previews readiness per row, and commits the batch with per-row savepoints.

Bilingual, end to end

The whole app in English and Vietnamese. Teammate chat auto-translates per message, so everyone reads in their own language.

Runs even when eBay wobbles

Liveness probes watch every integration — eBay, shipping, AI, sign-on. If one goes down, the owner gets a heads-up, not silent failures.

Know what it's worth before you buy it.

Scout Mode turns your phone into a sourcing tool. Photograph an item — or a whole liquidation lot — and it identifies each piece, pulls live comps, and hands back a verdict: the going value and the most you should pay to hit your margin. It's completely read-only, so nothing ever touches your store.

  • Buy-up-to price from your margin, fees, and shipping
  • Batch a whole lot, ranked by profit
  • Confidence scaled to how many comps it found
  • One tap turns a keeper into a draft listing

See it in action

The actual product.
Not a mockup.

The Listings board: every item filterable by status and category, with health flags, price, watchers, and quick actions.

Your whole inventory, one board

Filter by status or category, see health, price, and watchers at a glance — then nudge those watchers with an offer or open any listing, drafts through sold.

The New Listing screen: a drop-photos area, a one-line 'what is it?' field, and Analyze / Queue & start next buttons.

Drop photos, get a draft

A few photos and a one-line note — the agent writes the title, the description, and (optionally) a price band from sold comps.

A listing's detail page: real product photos, an AI-drafted title, and one-click publish to eBay.

Every listing, AI-drafted

Specs read from the photos, title and description generated, then one click publishes — or re-publishes — to eBay.

The Bulk Import wizard: upload a spreadsheet, map columns, preview, and commit a batch of drafts.

Liquidate at volume

Map a spreadsheet to fields and commit a whole batch of drafts at once — built for clearing surplus fast.

The AI assistant panel with suggested actions like 'What needs my attention?' and a model picker.

An agent for the busywork

Ask it what needs you, price the drafts, publish what's ready, or draft from photos — in plain language, bilingual.

How it works

Draft together, ship alone.
Without arguing about who has the password.

  1. 01 · OWNER
    Connect eBay once

OAuth round-trip with the production seller scopes. Tokens land in the app, encrypted at rest. Refresh handled automatically; the owner is the only one who ever sees them.

  2. 02 · CONTRIBUTOR
    Draft & sell-side run

Drop photos. Drafts a listing. Reviews the AI title, description, price band. Submits for approval. Then runs the store — replies to messages, sends offers to watchers, negotiates, prints labels, and handles returns, all in-app.

  3. 03 · OWNER
    Approve, publish, get paid

One click pushes inventory item, offer, and policies to eBay. Payouts to the contributor get tracked alongside margin per listing, with auto-void on refund. Done.

FAQ

The honest answers.

Who is this actually for?
Two kinds of teams. Resellers — a small, often bilingual crew moving hardware, used IT gear, and parts, where photos and condition matter and inventory churns. And businesses liquidating assets — IT, finance, or operations clearing surplus, retired, or decommissioned equipment and recovering the value. Same model either way: one account owner connects the marketplace and gets paid, while the people doing the listing work never touch the seller login.
How does the AI actually help?
Four passes per draft: vision extraction of specs from photos, title generation, HTML description in a consistent voice, and a price band from sold-listing comps (with your own listings filtered out so you don't reprice against yourself). Each prompt is overridable per listing. The model lives behind a router so you can swap it out without touching the app.
Can it tell me what something's worth before I buy it?
Yes — that's Scout Mode. Photograph an item, or a whole lot, at a sale or a liquidation, and it identifies each piece, pulls live comps, and returns a verdict: the going market value and the most you should pay to hit your target margin after fees and shipping — with a confidence rating based on how many comps it found. It's completely read-only, so nothing touches your store, and one tap promotes a keeper straight into a draft listing.
Does my contributor ever see my eBay credentials?
No. The OAuth round-trip is owner-only. Refresh tokens are encrypted at rest with Fernet. Contributors authenticate via single sign-on to the app itself; every eBay call is made by the app using the owner's token, never exposed to the browser.
What's the bilingual story?
The UI ships in English and Vietnamese. Chat between teammates is per-message lazy-translated and cached; each user reads in their preferred language without anyone having to copy-paste through a translator. Tasks carry both a bilingual title and description.
Can it negotiate offers and handle returns for me?
Yes, as much or as little as you want. You can send a discount offer to a listing's watchers in one click, and turn on Best-Offer autopilot — set a floor and the app auto-accepts above it, auto-declines lowballs, and auto-counters the in-between, around the clock. Returns are handled in the app too: approve, decline, or refund without ever opening eBay or sharing the login, and the refund reconciles against the payout automatically. If an auction ends short, one click relists it or fires a Second Chance Offer to the underbidders.
What about payouts and margin?
Per-listing P&L tracks cost basis, sale, fees, shipping, and the contributor's share. Payouts to the contributor get logged alongside, with auto-void on refund so a reversed sale doesn't leave a phantom payment in the books.
What happens when an integration breaks?
We added round-trip liveness probes against every external integration — eBay OAuth refresh, Trading API, LiteLLM, Keycloak, EasyPost. A three-strike alarm emails the owner the moment a probe stays red, and a recovery email goes out when it returns to green. The contributor sees a banner explaining what's down, so failed sends never look like their fault.
What stack is it built on?
FastAPI 0.115 + SQLAlchemy 2 + Postgres 17 on the backend, React 19 + Vite + Tailwind on the frontend, EasyPost for shipping, Keycloak (Unicorn Commander) for SSO, LiteLLM for model routing. Single-process, single-port; the SPA ships from the same FastAPI worker. Docker Compose deploy.
Is this generally available?
Listing-Ops runs internally for Magic Unicorn against our own eBay account today. It's solid enough to power live sales, but it isn't open for new tenants yet. Reach out if you'd like to be in the early cohort.
